Initial Formula KMITL
Freshman — The Beginning
Starting fresh as a university freshman, I joined the Formula Student Club and began my journey into automotive engineering. My first competition was TSAE 2019, where I experienced the challenges of designing, building, and competing with a student race car for the first time.
Sophomore — The Pandemic
As a sophomore in 2020, I took on a bigger role in the team, designing the car body and leading the aerodynamics package for our Formula Student car competing in TSAE 2020. All the hard work paid off when we won the Autocross Event.
In 2021, the global pandemic heavily impacted the competition and made it difficult to continue developing the car as we normally would. Despite the disruption, the experience taught me how to adapt and keep moving forward under challenging circumstances.
Senior — The Thesis
By my senior year, I focused my thesis on the monocoque chassis, bringing together what I had learned throughout my time with Formula Student. From design and analysis to manufacturing and hands-on problem solving, the project became an opportunity to apply engineering knowledge to a real structural application.
The journey wasn’t easy, and the pandemic made it even tougher. But despite all the challenges, I was determined to make the most of the experience.and I did.
